Brefeldin A，簡(jiǎn)稱BFA，一種常用的可逆性蛋白轉(zhuǎn)運(yùn)抑制劑，是一種真菌代謝產(chǎn)物，可破壞高爾基體的結(jié)構(gòu)并抑制其功能，進(jìn)而特異地阻斷蛋白質(zhì)從內(nèi)質(zhì)網(wǎng)(ER)向高爾基體(Golgi)的轉(zhuǎn)運(yùn)。BFA 可抑制coat proteins（如β-COP and ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF)）與高爾基體的結(jié)合并抑制GDP-GTP交換。

Brefeldin A也常被用于抑制細(xì)胞因子等蛋白的分泌，并用于增強(qiáng)分泌蛋白的免疫染色檢測(cè)。Brefeldin A可激活神經(jīng)鞘磷脂循環(huán)(sphingomyelin cycle)，還可誘導(dǎo)一些腫瘤細(xì)胞發(fā)生凋亡。

本品為溶于DMSO的BFA儲(chǔ)存液，濃度為5 mg/mL，推薦使用濃度范圍是1-50 μM，具體的最佳工作濃度請(qǐng)參考相關(guān)文獻(xiàn)，并根據(jù)實(shí)驗(yàn)?zāi)康囊约八锰囟?xì)胞和組織，進(jìn)行優(yōu)化。
